Netbeans has become my editor of choice for working with PHP. At first I found it a bit clumsy due to the many things I was not used to having. But over time I have found it very helpful in preventing those syntax errors that result from mistyping. Editing and uploading is pretty easy.
I have worked with the Java part of Netbeans a bit as well as was also happy with that. I sincerely want to spend some time with C++ again, but I have had so little time lately.
